An impressively large framed lithograph print titled ‘Old Santa Fe Trail’, original painting by listed contemporary western artist John Young Hunter (1874-1955). The detailed piece painted by the artist in 1914, features a family resting along the Santa Fe trail, cows eating hay, a female figure sitting with two Native American figures around a boiling pot; with other wagons along the trail and majestic mountains in the background. The printed signature of the artist can be found to the lower left corner. The piece is set behind glass in gilt frame with hunter green interior border and black to the edge.
