Original Picasso Etching "La Celestine"

An original etching titled ‘La Celestine’ by Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) from his illustrative series of miniature etchings, of which there were 66 produced to illustrate the character of a novel published by Fernando De Rojas in 1499. Further information on this thoroughly interesting etching, which IS NOT signed by Picasso, may be discovered at the link below. The etching is presented in an elaborately decorated wooden frame with motifs carved in low relief throughout and elaborate silver edged beveled matting to edge. A small placard appears along the bottom edge bearing the text ‘La Celestine, Block 1626, 1881 Pablo Picasso 1973.’ EBTH would herein like to assert very firmly that the responsibility of authenticity and the insurance of is that of the buyer.
