A mid-century ‘Keller’ dining table with six walnut chairs. Featured in this set is a Danish style drop-leaf table with a sleek mid-century design. The wood grain veneer table has two drop leaves, an optional insert leaf, tapered legs and silver tone metal feet. Marked Keller underneath and inspected in 1958. The chairs in this set feature a classic design with a semiopaque raw umber stain, and sit on four tapering rounded legs. The seats are upholstered with a fuzzy ochre canvas, and the backs have fanned spindles going from the top rail to the seats. Only two of the chairs have arms, likely for the heads of the table. They are marked on the underside as being walnut, they are also marked by the manufacturer and with the year 1958.
