An original framed three-dimensional collage by American artist Jane Murray Lewis. Titled ‘Of Human Kind,’ this work is signed by the artist in gel pen to center left. This is a joyous work celebrating the playful spirit, with cutout paper images appearing to float above the rest of the work. Numerous dancing figures of all kinds are interspersed with whimsical fish, houses, and the sun and moon. Housed in a black lacquer wood frame, with three layers of mat board, the uppermost which is fringed with colored paper along image edge.
Condition
There are some glue wrinkles on image that has been pasted to innermost board.
