C&O Adlake Kero Red Globe Railroad Lantern

A C&O Adlake Kero red globe railroad lantern. The early 20th-century lantern is from the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad, a class I railroad formed in 1869. The hand or hanging lantern has a red glass globe and a circular pierced metal cage. The wick, or lighting system, is missing.

  • At the time of cataloging, EBTH was unable to determine the working condition of this item, it is being sold ‘as-is.’ Refunds based on the working condition of the item will not be issued.

Condition

- fair to poor due to the lid not being able to hinge since it is the wrong sized globe. The glass globe has little chips long the rim and tape on the interior. The metal cage has rust/metal loss and needs to be cleaned.
