Mid-Century Hitchcock Rocking Chair

Item Details

A mid-century Hitchcock rocking chair, made circa 1940s. Painted black with gold stenciling. The spindle back is capped with a large crest rail that is gold stenciled with a fruit basket motif. All four legs are turned with gold rings and held in place with four stretchers. The front stretcher is turned with a gold ring through the middle.

Condition

Light scratching to paint, consistent with age and use. Paint is worn down to the wood on armrests.
