Nino Pippa was born on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia in 1950. From a young age, Pippa showed great talent as an artist and studied fine arts in southern European cities such as Rome, Florence, and Venice. He relocated to America in 1975 and continues to travel and visit French and Italian cities. Inspired by the French Impressionists, Pippa utilizes vivid colors and energetic brushstrokes to create sea and landscapes evocative of his childhood home of Italy. His works are housed in private collections across the world.

- some warping to the board; some discoloration to the varnish; scattered accretions; dust accumulation; loose in frame; discoloration stains to the mat; marks and abrasions to the frame; some gilt loss.
