| Additional Information: | Originally trained as an architect, Iranian-born Iradj Moini has designed stunning, imaginative jewelry in New York for over 30 years. By the late 1980s, his vibrant designs lit up the runway for Oscar de la Renta, for whom he led catwalk jewelry design for a decade. Moini has also created standout pieces for designers such as Bill Blass, Carolina Herrera, and Arnold Scaasi. With devoted collectors worldwide, his jewelry has been showcased at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York as part of Iris Apfel’s collection and in the Trop Exhibit alongside Barbara Berger at the Louvre in Paris, where three of his works now reside in the museum’s permanent collection. Each Iradj Moini piece is meticulously handcrafted in his Manhattan studio, where expert artistry and an imaginative use of color bring his designs to life. His jewelry pieces are invariably bold, exquisitely detailed, and three-dimensional—a reflection of his architectural roots and distinctive, sculptural approach. |
