- overall with various scratches, marks, nicks/chips, cracks/splits, and abrasions consistent with age and use (front right corner of lid has a larger chip/loss); scattered finish wear/losses and stains; variable oxidation; some loose and missing brass mounts; underside is missing castors; center of lid has a later reinforcement plank; a few pieced repairs; lid has a later support bracket.
