An Early 1800's Classic Empire Chest in Handsome Flame Mahogany

An early 1800s classic Empire chest of drawers. The chest, in flame mahogany, with two side by side drawers over three further drawers and two stepped back accessory drawers at the top, all cock-beaded. The chest has unusual square, tapering columns at each side and is elevated on turned feet. Noteworthy features are the beautiful, round brass handles and the soft patina.
