Lucie Cross Dunlap Chandler, known as Toss, was born in 1934. Best known for bold florals and whimsical fairies, Toss had a wide-ranging catalog of work and was accomplished in a variety of mediums. She majored in Fine Arts at the University of Kentucky and was a graduate of the Chicago School of Interior Design. She also trained at the prestigious Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida. Toss was a Juried Artist member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. She was the daughter-in-law of Happy Chandler. Toss Chandler passed away in 2023.
