A fantastic small painting of the Alps done by Austrian-born artist Peter Haller in the middle of the century. This painting exemplifies a refined color pallet and a honed ability to capture the light and complex enormity of mountain space by the artist. Haller signature is visible in red paint in the bottom right-hand corner. Displayed in a molded drop frame with a gold border around the painting.
Condition
Some crackling on the surface of the painting consistent with its age.
