‘Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1917, Charles Elmer Harris later changed his name to Beni E. Kosh, meaning ’Son of Ethiopia’. Kosh studied at the Cleveland Institute of Art and later worked with the “Sho Nuff Art Group”. His work was unrecognized during his lifetime.’
