Most everyone at Third Man has a vintage Steel Case desk. That’s a Michigan company and the things look like these massive constructions pulled off of an aircraft carrier. These things are a bitch to move around…heavy as hell, you bust your knuckles in doorways…but they look badass. Anyway, this isn’t a Steel Case desk. Hence…it’s got to go. This particular wooden thing served as the desk in the Third Man Records art department. First couple of years, give or take, there was a 2009 Apple desktop computer plopped on top of here that was used to layout all those early Blue Series singles covers, a metric shit ton of Dead Weather records and all kinds of other old school TMR shizz. Reach back in time, just for a moment, and try to recapture the joy in your life that those faintly remembered flashes represent. You’ve earned it.
