Roman Style Chair

Item Details

A Roman style chair is made of a rich mahogany from the Victorian Renaissance Revival style. The chair has a medallion back with gadroon and scroll woodwork, a curved seat, hollow sleigh arms, turned spindles underneath the arms, a pierced lyre shape between the apron and stretcher and saber style legs. The chair is marked ‘6801’ underneath its seat.

Condition

There are some areas of water damage with wood splitting and a white substance. The chair is in solid structure.
