This painting features the majestic Bavarian snow-capped mountainside of Zugspitze with a lingering fog resting just above Lake Eibsee in the foreground and sparse trees to the left and the sun trying to break through the clouds to help warm the day. This painting is signed by the artist to the lower left and is mounted in gilt and brown tone embossed frame with burl like accent to the central border.
