- painting has had its canvas relined; shows signs under UV light and to the verso of canvas of a large patched hole with inpainting repair to the upper center region of painting, as well as additional smaller spots of inpainting repair scattered throughout; craquelure, scratches, scuffs, and accretions to paint and varnish; significant cracks, chips, and flaked loss to the gold-toned gesso accents and veneer of frame; abrasions, scratches, scuffs, and accretions to frame.
