Kirk Hughey received his MA in philosophy from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is a painter whose work often depicts imagery from the southwest, likely inspired by his private studies with artists such as Agnes Martin, Georgia O’Keefe, and Fritz Scholder. His work is represented in many private and public collections throughout the United States and Europe.
