Antique Knock-Down Wardrobe

Item Details

An antique knock-down walnut wardrobe. There are burl panels to the doors and reeded trim to the top, sides, center post, doors and base. The doors open to reveal four shelves (including the bottom shelf) on one side and one shelf on the other. It has brass hinges and four metal casters with white ceramic rollers. It comes apart fairly easily to transport or move. When assembled, it is quite heavy due to the solid wood construction.

Condition

The condition is fair to good. It has some finish issues which is not uncommon in a piece this old. It also some chips and scrapes, no knobs or handles, and no keys. The burl on the cabinet doors may not be original to the piece. With some effort , this could once again be a show piece.
