| Additional Information | Writing box includes an ebonized pen tray and a side drawer released by a pin. There is also a hidden drawer under the fitted compartments. Lid can serve as a lectern with side support extended, although separate metal ledge is missing. The stand was added later and dates to the late 20th Century. |

- desk does not close completely; the keyhole plate is detached but present; interior baize torn and stained; cracks to lid.
