Condition

- signs of repairs and restoration when examined under UV light including numerous areas of inpainting throughout of varying sizes; areas of raised overpainting; raised areas of repair patches felt from the surface and verso; discoloration and uneven application of varnish; craquelure and paint losses throughout; stretcher marks; accretions and spots of discoloration throughout; wax-relining and strip-lining present; cracks, chips, and gesso loss to accents and veneer of frame, most significantly at the lower right corner; signs of attempted repair with adhesive residue to frame; tarnishing, scratches, and accretions to frame placard; abrasions, scratches, scuffs, and accretions to frame.
