Danish Modern Teak Dining Table and Chair Set

A wonderful Danish Modern ‘Tung Si Original’ teak dining table and six chairs, manufactured by the Hickory Manufacturing Company. The table has a rectangular top, wider to the middle, with a wooden trim bordering the center, comprised of two wide boards to the center which separate in the middle and expands to fit two 16’ leaves. The legs are accented with brass details and taper towards the bottom. The chairs feature a top rail that extends beyond the stiles which taper to the ends, a center splat with pierced details. The stiles have an angular shape and become an extension of the back legs. The upholstered seat boasts a tweed fabric in neutral shades of brown, black and cream.
