Vintage Mid Century Modern Orrefors Crystal Waterfall Vase

A vintage Mid Century Modern Orrefor’s crystal ‘Waterfall’ vase, designed by sculptor and glass artist Edvin Öhrström (Sweden, 1906 – 1994) for Orrefors of Sweden. Heavy crystal vase has six flared swirls that rise to a scalloped floriform opening. An ‘Orrefors’ signature and production code are etched into the underside. Öhrström worked for Orrefors from 1936-1957. An etched production code on the underside of the base begins with F, which indicates Öhrström as the designer.
