Condition

- examined under UV light; artwork is slightly loose within frame and tends to shift; curving, buckling, and small cracks to canvas panel; discoloration, accretions, scattered craquelure, and scuffs to paint and varnish; interior border section of frame is loose from the outer bars along the left side and tends to shift; cracks, chips, and heavy flaked loss to the gold-toned gesso accents and veneer of frame; abrasions, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and accretions to frame; significant accretions, discoloration, and possible water damage to the verso.
