Item Details

A Swan oak mantle clock by Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. of Winsted, CT. The oak case is artistically carved with foliate styling and has applied leaf and round medallion adornment. The glass door has a gilt design featuring a spiderweb to the center surrounded by cattails and scroll work. The door opens to a clock with a white face in a brass frame. The clock has black Roman numerals and hands with a gilt metal pendulum decorated with a flower to center and foliate design in relief.
