An interesting collecting of vintage hand held wood planes. 7 in total.p.
Includes; * A smoothing wood plane, unmarked a vintage piece retaining original blade.

  • A tongue and groove plane from Lyon McKinnell & Co Cincinatti Ohio. Is missing one wedge and blade.
  • A smoothing plane marked Gabriel, (circa 1770-1822), owner ship mark to end. Christopher Gabriel was a London plane maker who started his business in 1770, and he or his sons were in business from 1770 to 1822 (Christopher died in 1809).
  • A molding plane, an early 1800’s piece a faded makers mark to one end and owners mark to other, retains original wedge but no blade.
  • A vintage side bead plane, owner stamp to either end. Has broken wedge, retains original adjusting screw.
  • An Ogee wood molding plane, a vintage piece retaining its original wedge and blade, no 3, makers mark to end is worn.
  • A classic coffin smoother plane, owners mark to end, retaining its original wedge and blade.
  • A J & G.H. Walker, New York wooden spirit level. (18’ long).
