St. Dymphna Figurine

A porcelain St. Dymphna figurine, the patron saint of the mentally afflicted and those that treat the suffering. St. Dymphna lived in 7th century Ireland; in fear of her mentally ill pagan king father, she fled to Belgium, where she tended to the sick. The statue depicts a solemn and humble young lady equipped with sword and Bible.
