The Mid-Victorian era is also known as the ‘Grand Period’ and was characterized by different styles and designs in women’s fashion and jewlery. The Arch of Constantine is a triumphal arch in Rome dedicated to Emperor Constantine and his victory at the Battle of Milvian Bridge. Constantine is also known as the first Roman emperor to embrace Christianity.
