Boxing champion Muhammad Ali also had a lesser-known talent for art. He began drawing at a young age, learning from his father who was a professional artist and muralist. Ali’s mediums of choice were serigraphs and drawings with which he used to portray scenes of racial injustice and his career as a boxer. Ali’s work is held in private collections and can be viewed at the National Art Museum of Sport (now the Children’s Museum Indianapolis).
