Vintage Cincinnati Zoo Booklet "Zig Zags at the Zoo"

A remarkable booklet called ‘ZigZags at the Zoo’, which was published around 1914. This booklet was an advertising campaign by the Cincinnati Zoo to increase patronage. The photos were done by a well-known photographer of the day, Enno Meyer, and the booklet was compiled by J. W. Hull and W. P. Whitlcok. The booklet gives information on some of the animals found at the zoo at that time. It cost five cents to buy and all proceeds went to the zoo. Although there is no date as to when this booklet was published, research found that this booklet was advertised in the Printers’ Ink newspaper April 2, 1914.
