- spots of light flaking to paint beneath the varnish at the lower right region of the painting; accretions, minor discoloration, craquelure, scratching, and scuffing to paint and varnish surfaces; light indentations to the canvas along the lines where the painting presses against the interior border of the stretchers; minor staining and discoloration to the linen spacers of frame; light abrasions, scratching, and flecks of debris to frame.
