Commanding Victorian Gothic Throne Chair

A commanding Victorian Gothic throne chair in walnut. An impressive piece masterfully carved, the chair has an oval upholstered medallion back framed by an architectural wonder in the form of turned side columns and openwork quatrefoil center tracery with turned urn finials and two trefoil sidings. The padded arms have handsome ball finals to the ends, and are supported by turned legs. The brown vinyl-upholstered padded seat is accented by hammered brass nail heads and is backed by a tracery rail. The curved apron has a round floral medallion to the center.
