A collection of nine American art themed picture books. Featured books include ‘Essential History of American Art’, ‘Famous Paintings’ and ‘Introduction to Art for Young People’ (circa 1950). Artist specific books include Mary Cassatt, Turner, Frankenthaler, Lewis Meakin and two books of Cincinnati sculpture artist Marjorie Pease Applegate. ‘My Life in Stone’ is personalized and signed by M. Applegate. Also included is a newspaper clipping and NKU dedication brochure highlighting her Oseberg Dragon.
