William Pfahl is a plein air painter who works in oil and pastel. Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he is best known for his cityscapes and landscapes of surrounding areas. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and studied at Elmira College, and Studio Incamminati. Pfahl remains a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh (AAP) and Pittsburgh Society of Artists. His work has been exhibited at many local galleries and shows including the Southwestern Pennsylvania Council of the Arts, Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, and more.
