- overall wear to box with marks, scratches, nicks, and abrasions consistent with age and use; wear to finish, most notably to the top; light spots and staining; tearing, discoloration, and loss to interior paper lining; bent, loosened hinges; lid does not sit straight; bent escutcheon on box; crack to back of lid; split in a spoke of fan; torn joining ribbon on fan.
