Large Format 1896 ‘Educational Series’ $2 Silver Certificate. This ‘Allegory of Science’ note features three women and two children amid steam engine gears to the obverse and Robert Fulton and Samual Morse to the reverse in a promotion of steam and electricity to commerce. The note has a red seal and blue serial numbers, has been circulated with vertical and horizontal lines and measures 7.25’ W X 3.25’ D.
