Mounted African Blue Wildebeest Taxidermy Head
Item Details
A handsome, professionally mounted Blue Wildebeest with lovely broad muzzle, Roman nose, shaggy mane and short horns. His horns grow out the side before curving upwards, and his shaggy short black mane adds to his gruff yet handsome appearance. An extremely well-preserved hide has a touch of silvery gray or ‘blue’ over the sandy brown coloration of the overall hide. To the touch, the hide is still soft. A large, rather migratory, antelope of their native open woodlands of Eastern and Southern Africa, this bull was an adult. Photographs and provenance from the previous owner indicate this animal was taken in Zambia in August of 1992.
