Vintage Navy Mark V Diving Helmet Replica

Item Details

A vintage reproduction of a Navy Mark V diving helmet. Reminiscent of Jules Vern’s ‘20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’. Constructed of copper with brass hardware. It has three small glass portholes with brass grill coverings. The main porthole has a hinged brass grill covering that swings open to allow greater visibility through the glass window. The brass plate on the front reads ‘Navy Diving Helmet Mark V Mod-1 Serial No. 5123 Date of Mfg 1/45 Diving Equipment’.

Condition

Missing one round knob on the back. Light patina consistent with age.
