An original oil on academy board painting by well-listed Montana-born painter of Western and wildlife subjects, Oris Strommen Dahlen (1918 – 2003). The artist has herein rendered a subject typical of her oeuvre in a manner of style and quality that increases the austerity of her majestic subject, in this case the buffalo. The painting is signed to the lower right-hand corner, presented in a wide, canvas bordered wooden frame.
