A high-quality black lacquered trinket box, purchased while in Russia (per owner) with hand-painted elaborate scene, depicting what appears to be an Emperor outside of a Russian castle, in hues of gold, red, and green. Hand-painted title, signature, and date to bottom. Gloss red lacquer to inside box.
