An Atari Tempest arcade game, dated 1981. Serial number: 05283.
Housed in original cabinet case with all original parts to inside. The arcade game is in non working condition, an ideal project piece for converting, updating or repair.
Tempest is a tube shooter game with a fixed environment, viewed from a three-dimensional perspective. A notable game for being one of the first games with levels of difficulty, initiated by the starting level and the first video game to use Atari’s Color-QuadraScan vector display technology. Designed by Dave Theurer, an up to 2 player game with alternating turns.
Cabinet style game, retains original receipt from R and Z Vending, Dayton to inside. Game instructions attached to inside of wood panel.
