National Commemorative Society Sterling Silver Proof Medallions of American Icons. This set of ten proof silver medals includes the America icons of General John J. Pershing, Alexander Graham Bell, Woodrow Wilson, Richard E. Byrd, Mount Rushmore, Babe Ruth, Robert F. Kennedy, Alexander Hamilton, Samual Clemens and Dwight D. Eisenhower. The medals are are stamped ‘STERLING’ and numbered #2294 on the edge and are encapsulated and housed in a decorative case with informational tags and a gilt embellished leather cover. Designer: identified on each tag. Metal Content: .925 sterling silver. Diameter: 37mm. Weight: 26.4 grams(each). Medals have little to no wear and the box appears to have had moisture issues.
