In the 1939 movie classic ‘The Wizard of Oz’, when Dorothy landed in the land of Oz, she was honored by the Mayor of Muchkinland for ‘landing on the Wicked Witch of the East’. This lot has the Mayor of Munchkinland as a doll produced in 1989 by the Turner Entertainment Company. He comes in a green suit with a green and white striped vest with a large white bow tie. A large pocket watch is attached to the vest. He’s wearing green pointy shoes. The original tag is still attached to the doll. He comes with his own doll stand.
