Max Hayslette Signed and Numbered Framed Serigraph

Item Details

A Max Hayslette signed and numbered framed serigraph print features dandelion silhouettes on an abstract background of teal, orange, marigold, and light yellow organic shapes on fine art paper. Max Hayslette was born in 1930, and graduated from Chicago’s Academy of Art in 1951. After successfully designing for several World’s Fairs, as well as Boeing, Hayslette relocated to Washington state where he founded Olympus Graphics with fellow artist Steve Strickland in 1972. Olympus focused mainly on large scale serigraphs for the corporate market. Hayslette is known for both his landscapes and his abstract modern print work, and has pieces in over 350 collections including the Rockefeller Foundation, Stanford University, and The Smithsonian. This piece is signed by Hayslette in the bottom left corner, and is the 136th print of a series of 171. The print is in a large gold tone frame with an Olympus Graphics label on the back.
