This coin features a right facing Liberty in Eastern style Native American headdress to the obverse and ‘ONE DOLLAR 1856’ in a wreath of laurels to the reverse. Designer: James Barton Longacre. Mintage: 1,762,936. Metal content: 90% Gold, 10% copper. Diameter: 14.3mm. Weight: approximately 1.7 grams. The coin is circulated with some wear.
