An original oil on canvas painting by listed Western genre artist Oris Strommen Dahlen (Montana, 1918-2003), signed to the lower left-hand corner with the name Dahlen, and fixed to the back with a pamphlet entitled ‘Western Art.’ The artist has painted an energetic picture in which wild Buffalo stampede across the plains in a wild frenzy, completely incomprehensible for rhyme or reason. Presented in a nice wooden frame with a canvas border to edge.
