A 1952 Rolex ‘Padellone’ Triple Date Moonphase 18K gold automatic wristwatch. Only one of two Rolex vintage models with moon phases that were produced for a very short time between 1949-1952. This 8171 model is thought to be one of only about 1,000 produced. This watch also impresses with its large 38 mm diameter, blending well with the case’s facets and angles, a combination rarely seen over the past 69 years.
