Portuguese Stamp Collection, 1882–1982. This collection contains mint and cancelled singles, sets, blocks and strips of general issue and commemorative stamps. These stamps have such themes as former kings, explorers and famous sailors, traditional musicians, military leaders, royal carriages, the Olympics, modern art, NATO, wildlife, sailing ships, religious images and many others. The stamps are both hinged to paper album pages and on synthetic sheets behind mylar panes. The pages are in plastic sleeves, which are housed in a three ring binder.
