A Spectacular Art Deco Waterfall Vanity Dresser with Bench

A spectacular Art Deco waterfall dresser and matching bench, with an aura of Old Hollywood glamour. The dresser has a framed and etched back mirror with a curved top accented by scrollwork crest and side elements. The mirror is etched with foliate patterns. Below the mirror is featured a fabulous serpentine wood apron with two rows of gold mirror mosaic banding. The apron is on a matching serpentine beveled edge base. The dressing table surface is a rectangular mirror, which can be lifted up to reveal a secret space, perfect for secreting away love notes and valuables. The center drawer front is designed with a vertically grain light exotic wood veneer band, with a scrollwork element featuring an olivewood burl inset framed by scrollwork elements. An intricate geometric veneer band in golden and russet woods accents the drawer, as well as silver tone floral pulls in an openwork design. A veneer waterfall feature is below the drawer, and is accented by a zigzag geometric wood veneer band. The dresser has two pedestals to each side, each with two matched veneer dove-tailed drawers featuring the most amazing dark coral curved bakelite pulls with silver tone scrollwork frames. The drawers have a vertically-grained veneer band to the top, a geometrically-designed band to the center, and a zigzag geometrically designed band to the base, above a curvilinear foot. A waterfall feature tops the drawers, where the horizontal top surface meets the vertical plane. The bench is composed of matching veneer wood, with a low curving back with scrollwork crest, curving arms with ribbed tops, a cream tapestry upholstered seat with foliate pattern, and straight fluted legs. Totally stunning and movie star worthy!
