Iain Whitecross, born and educated in the UK, moved to Paris to paint full time after receiving and becoming disillusioned with his degree in economics. After a well received solo exhibition there, Iain was commissioned by an American corporation, and made the move to New York City. Both the bustling city and the launching of the first space crafts inspired Whitecross and he soon became involved in the Experiments in Art and Technology (EAT) movement whose goal was to bridge the conversation between modern art and technology. The artist has been invited to participate in shows at the Brooklyn Museum, the Portland Museum, the Graham Gallery, and the Galerie du Damier and his work is held in private collections all over the world.

- wear and some chipping to the edges of the board; abrasions, accretion, and staining throughout the composition; some toning to the board to the verso.
